Branding a local barber with a modern take on traditional styling
Barber Bro’s & Co. are a traditional barber shop for men on the Gold Coast. They bring back the old school charm from a bygone era; from the character of the barbers themselves, to the barbershop with its vintage timber and memorabilia. Their barber shops in the Isle of Capri and Broadbeach provide both an escape, and an experience to their clients.
In 2015, Barber Bro’s & Co. partnered with Kaliber to update their brand image, the strategy being to further enhance the traditional customer experience. The design needed to be authentic and true to the past. Kaliber created a range of assets and collateral to strengthen their traditional image and the relationship with their clients.
Through carefully crafted use of typography, colour and texture, we first transformed their website into a realistic and authentic representation of their business objectives while providing the e-commerce capabilities required. We also designed a new logo and brand elements to be featured across all touch points. Finally, stationery and merchandise were designed and created to act as brand identity reinforcements.
